Volunteers play a huge part in making Elvira’s Garden Community Centre possible. Based in Grenada, our Community Centre provides children with a safe, welcoming place to learn, play, build confidence and experience opportunities outside of school. Our main programmes include our free After-School Club during the school year and our Easter, Summer and Christmas Holiday Camps for children aged approximately 3–15. ​​​​​​​

As a volunteer, you become part of a team of dedicated staff and become vital in working together to enable Elvira's Garden to achieve it's many goals. Volunteering in one of the most picturesque environments the world has to offer. You will need to be ready to give up some real home comforts and luxuries in exchange for the sun, sea and sand whilst knowing you are contributing to changing the lives of many children here in Grenada.

All of the individual contributions, dedication and commitment our volunteers provide are vital to making Elvira's Garden a success. Each volunteer contributes an important part to our goals and vision. To be totally honest without volunteer participation the project would not be possible.

LOCAL VOLUNTEERS - If you live in Grenada, we welcome volunteers who would like to support our children, activities, events and community programmes. Whether you can help regularly or during one of our Holiday Camps, we would love to hear from you.

​​​​​​​​​​INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS - ​We also welcome volunteers travelling to Grenada from overseas. International volunteers can stay in our shared volunteer accommodation and work alongside the Elvira’s Garden team supporting our children’s programmes.

Our busiest volunteer periods are during our Easter, Summer and Christmas Holiday Camps, although longer-term volunteers may also support our free After-School Club during the school year.
